ABOUT MEMAW
🕯️
Memaw Alcée has answered the parish's letters since 1963. Whose memaw is she? Somebody's, surely. Photograph unavailable — every picture we take develops as fog.
HOUSEHOLD HINT
"A saucer of vinegar takes the rust off anything. Two saucers take off things that are not rust. Use one saucer."
WRITE TO MEMAW

Write to Memaw
Sign yourself the way the parish does — "Nervous Past the Landing," "Fed Up on Bayou Chevreuil." No real names needed. Memaw knows who you are anyway.
Letters may be edited for length, spelling, and things Memaw says you should not have put in writing.
Your letter is in the mailbag. Memaw has, of course, already read it. Watch the column, cher.
NOTICE FROM THE EDITOR: The letter came. It is above. Memaw says she is not surprised.
~ Memaw reads every letter, including the ones you decided not to send. ~
